Standing in Awe

To see the moon and be awestruck. The red moon reflecting the sun’s light through the smoky last night and be dumbstruck by the miracle of the moon The miracle of that rock orbiting our earth. The miracle of that rock that was expelled from this earth when a mars size object collided with this earth eons ago. Without that moon, to really feel, that without that moon, we would have no life in this planet and it all relies on a collision eons ago. The moon that created the tidal pull that geologists say creates the conditions for life on this earth. Keeps the magma moving, keeps stirring things up just enough to create the conditions for life on this earth. To feel the awesomeness of this, to be dumbstruck by it, to sense somehow the eons of time, the track of everything that led to just this moment. The karma of the universe, the result of the ten thousand things that left me in a parking lot last night staring at the moon basking in the awesomeness of all things. Basking in the miracle of this moment and all that led to it.
