Six Notebooks

Consider the orchid.

Consider the orchid at the grocery store.

Consider the display of orchids at the grocery store.

 Consider the white pots.

Consider the green stem.

Consider the stick that supports the stem.

Consider the bloom.

Consider the flower blooming.

Consider the beauty.

Then I think of the orchid purchased bought home consider the finickiness of the orchid what it takes to keep one alive consider the orchid going home with the shopper consider the new home consider that it is certain death for that orchid consider how I don’t want to participate in this slaughter of thousands of orchid I cannot take that responsibility cannot encourage the manufacture of orchid misery for their beauty they are born to die as we all are and I think I may be wrong and I don’t know don’t know anything maybe it is just accept that that moment of beauty is enough and everyone should take one home and I don’t know don’t know anything don’t know anything but too many judgements in my head too many stories crafting too many stories crafting stories about orchids capitalism death crafting too  much out of one display Crafting crafting crafting a very noise head
